Anna Quindlen Announced as Conference Keynote Speaker

The NRMP is pleased to announce Anna Quindlen as the keynote speaker at its annual stakeholder conference “Transition to Residency: Conversations Across the Medical Education Continuum”. The conference brings together medical school faculty, residency program directors, and hospital executives to discuss ways to strengthen the transition from medical school to residency. Ms. Quindlen is a critically-acclaimed journalist and New York Times bestselling author.
In her presentation entitled “Health Care in an Information Age: How Doctors, Nurses, and Consumers Can Make One Another Better” Ms. Quindlen will draw on her medical experiences and those of her father to explore the changing relationship between doctors and patients and ways to build connectedness and empathy to improve outcomes.
