Data and Reports

The NRMP's data reporting and research activities seek to:

  • Enhance the transparency of the matching process;
  • Assist match participants in making better informed decisions; and
  • Inform the medical community about important aspects, trends, and advances in Graduate Medical Education.

These goals are met while preserving the confidentiality of applicants, schools, and programs with regard to their ranking choices and match success. The NRMP's data reporting and research activities are guided by its Data Release and Research Committee, chaired by Maria C. Savoia, M.D.
