The National Resident Matching Program works with national leaders and decision makers to inform policies and practices that could strengthen both the transition to residency and the physician workforce. We provide data and insight to policymakers that address pressing issues affecting the graduate medical education community to support transformation of the nation’s healthcare system to better serve the needs of patients and communities.
