When appropriate, the NRMP issues position statements or seeks public comment on issues that directly impact the transition to residency. The Match discloses what potential changes could be and contextualizes how those changes would affect constituents. The NRMP works to define and explain policies and processes related to The Match and how the NRMP remains focused on identifying the problems that need solving while also maintaining the “applicant first” focus of its Matching Program.
