The NRMP® is known for promoting a matching process that is fair, equitable and transparent when connecting students and graduates with the clinical training they need to launch their careers. It also is viewed as a source of new and developing ideas and perspectives for how the transition to residency should evolve and how stakeholders internal and external to medical education can consider new processes. This Insights page shares how the NRMP is leveraging education, research, and community engagement opportunities to encourage and inform community and national discussions about residency and the physician workforce.
