Registration Opens
Institution and program users can register their individual user account, sign the Match Participation Agreement, and review program details in the R3 system.
Program directors can begin setting their SOAP participation indicator once their program has been activated.

Programs learn if they filled (by email and R3 system).
Supplemental Offer and Acceptance Program (SOAP) Begins
Applicants and their representatives cannot communicate with a program until contacted by that program.
SOAP applicants can start preparing applications
Contact the application service designated by the program with any questions.
Programs begin reviewing SOAP applications
Programs begin reviewing SOAP applications.
Programs may contact applicants upon receipt of an application and begin interviewing.

SOAP preference lists can begin being entered into the R3 system. Applicants do not submit a preference list for SOAP.

8:55 am EDT: Deadline to certify program preference list for Round 1 offers.
9:00 am EDT: Applicants receive Round 1 offers by logging in to R3 system.
11:00 am EDT: Applicant deadline to accept/reject Round 1 offers.
SOAP Round 2
11:55 am EDT: Deadline to certify program preference list for Round 2 offers.
12:00 pm EDT: Applicants receive Round 2 offers.
2:00 pm EDT: Applicant deadline to accept/reject Round 2 offers.
Program Confidential Roster of Matched Applicants report available
Program Confidential Roster of Matched Applicants report available (by email and R3 system). Once logged into the R3 system under "Options", click on "Reports" (embargoed until Match Day at 12:00 pm EDT).
SOAP Round 3
2:55 pm EDT: Deadline to certify program preference list for Round 3 offers.
3:00 pm EDT: Applicants receive Round 3 offers.
5:00 pm EDT: Applicant deadline to accept/reject Round 3 offers.
SOAP Round 4
5:55 pm EDT: Deadline to certify program preference list for Round 4 offers.
6:00 pm EDT: Applicants receive Round 4 offers.
8:00 pm EDT: Applicant deadline to accept/reject Round 4 offers.
Programs Update Number of Unfilled Positions
Programs update their number of remaining unfilled positions on the List of Unfilled Programs.
SOAP Ends
SOAP ends with posting of final List of Unfilled Programs in the R3 system.
Applicants can begin contacting all remaining unfilled programs.
Programs should update the List of Unfilled Programs as positions are filled.
Match Day
Program Match Results by Ranked Applicant and SOAP Programs Preferred Applicants reports available in the R3 system under "Options", click on "Reports".
