Neurosurgical Oncology Match

Neurosurgical Oncology is the neurosurgical subspecialty focused on the medical and surgical management of tumors affecting the brain, skull, spinal cord, spine, and peripheral nerves. It encompasses expertise in specialized brain and spine oncology procedures, stereotactic radiosurgery, advanced diagnostic techniques, and the integration of both surgical and non-surgical therapies into comprehensive patient care. Prior to beginning a CAST-accredited neurological surgery subspecialty fellowship, each fellow candidate will generally have satisfactorily completed all the requirements of an ACGME-accredited residency training program in neurological surgery.
