The Pathology Fellowship Match includes the following subspecialties:
Bone & Soft Tissue Pathology
Bone & Soft Tissue Pathology programs are designed to provide training in Musculoskeletal/Orthopedic Pathology. The fellow will develop strong diagnostic skills in neoplastic and non-neoplastic, inflammatory, degenerative musculoskeletal (orthopedic pathology) cases in-house and in consultation, for all age groups. Programs use state-of-art AI, digitized bone and soft tissue cases, immunostains and molecular/genetic work up for patient care, research and educational purposes. Fellows will assist in frozen sections, grossing and sign out of cases, present at MSK and Sarcoma Tumor Boards and learn the updated classification, staging, prognostication, and multi-disciplinary approach to treatment. Additional information may be found on the International Society of Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology website.
Applicants must be Board Eligible/Certified from an ACGME-accredited program in Anatomic Pathology and/or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology from the American Board of Pathology.
