Forensic Pathology
Forensic pathology is a subspecialty of pathology that involves the investigation of unexpected, suspicious, and unnatural deaths. This usually involves performing an autopsy. Applicants must have completed a residency in Anatomic or Anatomic/Clinical Pathology.

Hematopathology
Hematopathology is a subspecialty of pathology concerned with the study and diagnosis of human diseases involving hematolymphoid cells and tissues as well as blood coagulation. Hematopathologists specialize in examining lymph nodes, bone marrow, and blood smears. They often integrate the interpretation of histomorphology with other assays such as flow cytometry and genetic studies. Applicants must have completed a residency in Anatomic, Clinical, or Anatomic/Clinical Pathology.

Molecular Genetic Pathology
Molecular Genetic Pathology (MGP) is an ACGME-accredited program, certified by the American Board of Pathology and the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics. MGP programs are designed to provide training in the techniques and applications of molecular testing including molecular oncology, medical genetics, infectious disease, tissue typing, pharmacogenomics, identity testing, and cytogenetics. Applicants must have completed at least two years of a Pathology residency, completion of a Medical Genetics and Genomics residency, or be a physician certified by the ABMGG.
