NRMP routinely shares its views with and seeks feedback from the community on matters related to The Match. The Year in Review highlights all the good work being done to fortify The Match and support the UME-GME community. Position statements or calls for public comment invite dialogue on issues that directly impact the Matching Program or the transition to residency more broadly. This section also highlights NRMP’s impressions and recommendations related to process enhancements, innovation and policy development. Through this work, NRMP remains committed to identifying key challenges while maintaining the “applicant first” focus of its Matching Program.
