If you graduated on or after July 1, 2025, you are considered an IMG and must be verified as eligible to participate in the Match by the ECFMG.

If you graduated prior to July 1, 2025, you are not considered an IMG and must be verified by your Canadian medical school to participate in the Main Residency Match.
