The NRMP has published its second video in a year-long campaign celebrating the 70-year history of the NRMP. The video describes why the NRMP began collecting demographic data, why it is important to the medical education community, and dives into a deeper discussion of race and Match results.
As the NRMP celebrates 70 years, videos will be posted throughout the year to highlight initiatives and innovations in the Match along with interesting and fun facts on NRMP’s social media channels to reflect on how the NRMP is building on its past and investing in the future. Please check back often for the new videos and follow along on social media by using the hashtag #NRMP70 on Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
The NRMP kicked off the year-long anniversary by interviewing constituents at the Transition to Residency stakeholder conference about the long-standing history of the NRMP and the best reason to celebrate 70 years of the Match.
