Am I required to include my AAMC ID when I register for an NRMP Match?

To register for the Main Residency Match® or Specialties Matching Service® (Fellowship) Matches, an AAMC ID is not required but it is recommended.  Including an AAMC ID in your Match registration will make it easier for programs to rank you in the NRMP Registration, Ranking, and Results® (R3®) system.

Can we create a program track with an osteopathic focus?

Only programs that have achieved ACGME Osteopathic Recognition can create an osteopathic-focused track in the NRMP’s Registration, Ranking, and Results® (R3®) system. Programs that are eligible to create an osteopathic-focused track can place some or all of their positions in that track.
